The October Antic Follies night of Cabaret, Burlesque, Comedy and Swing at Jamboree. “…the dirty alternative to Soho’s glitz, a diabolical night of cabaret and burlesque. Experience the rusty harbour glamour of Limehouse and the magic junk-shop contours of Jamboree, whilst the Antic Follies roster of cabaret and burlesque performers titillate and tease.”

Guest performers include:

MOLLY BETH MOROSSA! A theatre maker, writer, performer and all round creep. Fusing poetic storytelling, mime, cabaret and performance art with a classically gothic style, she performs pieces which delight, enchant and disgust in equal measure.

Michael Brunström! An alternative comedian based in London, Michael devises and performs surreal stunts and skits. These have titles such as: “What If Noel Edmonds Were a Cello?”, “The Ironic Trowel”, “The Mystery of Fennel”, “Hula Hoop Hamlet”, “Homage to Sir Alexander Fleming” and “Gargling the Gettysburg Address While Nailing Grapes to Ted Cruz’s Face”.

He’s written and performed four full-length shows at the Edinburgh Fringe: “The Human Loire” (2014), “The Golden Age of Steam” (2015), “The Hay Wain Reloaded” (2016) and “Parsley” (2017).

Michael is also a regular member of the Weirdos Collective (Chortle Award nominees 2013 & 2016, DLCF Liberty Award nominees 2016), and has performed for the Alternative Comedy Memorial Society, Laugh Out London, Knock2Bag and many more.

Plus regulars performers:

Luce Lemons! Amazing fire hoop artiste

Tom Baker! Accordionist, louche cabaret impressario and disturbing ventriloquist

Dominic Jones and Jake Stevens! Sketch comedy and cabaret weirdos.

The band for the evening will be The Bohemianauts.

“The Bohemianauts get your feet moving with their demi-monde accordion-led decadence and bastard cabaret carnivalism. Expect Polka, Tango, Waltz and Gypsy Swing with songs about vodka, David Icke, the end of the world and unrequited dread.”
