Come and spend an unforgettable New Year’s Eve with us here at Jamboree! We couldn’t imagine anything more wonderful than a night partying in our intimate ramshackled den amongst old and new friends of the night.

Dance, cavort and hoedown to a playful macabre bluegrass gospel folk troupe, drop your jaws to Goodness Grief’s charmingly twisted cabaret and burlesque and find yourself welcoming in the New Year in a flurry of rapturous arm in arm sentimental moments to the music of rag-tag crackled American husking accordionist Dakota Jim; an intriguing and charmingly eccentric character.

Upon entrance you will be greeted with a complimentary glass of Cava and later in the night we will host a bonfire gathering in the courtyard.

This New Year Jamboree will pay homage to the two headed ancient God Janus of past and present, of beginnings and transition. Janus symbolises the very nature of Jamboree; a place which hangs in the middle ground between barbarism and civilization, rural and urban space, youth and adulthood.

LITTLE BANG BANG!

Little Bang Bang is the illegitimate offspring of post-punk Tarantino-fuelled rockers Bang Bang Shot Girl.
It all started with a drunken impulse to buy a ukulele. A few eBay clicks, a dusting down of a vintage custom-made guitar, a cajon and a goblet drum later, and the troublesome troupe were returning to their folk roots and beating out songs of love, heartbreak, death, righteous smiting, the perils of marijuana, and good old-fashioned unresolved incest complexes.
Indecently fiddling with genres from gospel, country, blues and bluegrass, right through to the ever-popular Hasidic-Zorba-the-Greek, this is playful macabre folk at its indescribable best and naught but a fool stands in its way.

GOODNESS GRIEF!

Bump & grind burlesque with a jaw-dropping twist!

DAKOTA JIM

Dakota Jim & His Family Band will throw you back to the time of Speakeasies, the age of Prohibition and the golden age of jazz, fused with the sounds of Cajun and bourbon-soaked blues that played out in the less refined blind pig dives of the 1930s. His swampy accordion playing weezes and groans to accompany his powerful soulful singing of an intriguing collection of songs from his travels, ranging from swing era jazz and americana to french musettes and russian polkas. .
