Effra are Tom Newell (fiddle), Aidan Shepherd (accordion) and Alex Bishop (guitar), are a chin-stroking contemporary folk trio from South-East London and Kent playing a modern, foot-stomping brand of music inspired by traditional folk styles. Expect wonderfully atmospheric songs with the charm of the ancients, and a firebrand concoction of melodies to make you swing from the rafters.

Jimmy Aldridge and Sid Goldsmith are an emerging duo who play traditional folk music predominantly from the British Isles. They tell stories of hardship, joy, murder and celebration, held together with driving banjo and guitar arrangements and close vocal harmonies.
