Sephardic tales and tunes reminiscent of the Hakawati story telling of the Arab and Mediterranean world.

Spanner Trouvères bring together four intuitive musicians from  contemporary, traditional and classical backgrounds presenting Sephardic tales and tunes alongside original stories and compositions.

‘The Don’s Dream’ will take listeners on a beguiling and humorous journey of tragedy, heroism and love, with the music illustrating the action and events in a style reminiscent of the Hakawati story telling of the Arab and Mediterranean world.

The ensemble comprises of:
