With a winking eye, the ease of a flying Molotow-cocktail and full of danceable tragedies, “Roy de Roy” serves a Viennese melange of melancholic Pirate Waltz and break-neck speed recycled Polka Punk, with Balkan and Ska thrown together in the tongue of Slovenian and Portugese exiles. They sing powerful punk tales of a paranoid society, vain Diasporas and the history of the balkans with a collective apathy and social consciousness that will have you caterwauling till midnight.

GARANCE LOUIS

Song writer and accordionist from rural southern France Garance Louis mixes destroyed dynamics and unexpected changes with traditional folkloric styles…You could call it a kind of “dirty tango, rock n roll, post-musette, tramp jazz, experimental gypsy…”

Like a curious ChittyChittyBangBangesque wind-up doll on a music box,  Garance’s kaleidoscopic performances are bursting  with an eccentric playfulness,  telling the story of her days spent in Gifford’s travelling circus.
