The November Antic Follies night of Cabaret, Burlesque, Comedy and Swing at Jamboree. “…the dirty alternative to Soho’s glitz, a diabolical night of cabaret and burlesque. Experience the rusty harbour glamour of Limehouse and the magic junk-shop contours of Jamboree, whilst the Antic Follies roster of cabaret and burlesque performers titillate and tease.”

Guest performers include:

Chris Lynham! Very few members of the comedy world are worthy of the title ‘genius’. Chris Lynam isn’t one of them but he comes damn close. Chris is renowned for many things, but mainly for bringing his own brand of crazed humour to bear on unsuspecting audiences. His comedy is wild and exciting, stretching variety to its limits. Any one show may include acrobatics, outlandish operatic and orchestral overtures, flying sousaphones and anything else which may spring to Mr Lynam’s unnecessarily large and vivid imagination.

“Surreal unhinged quality which makes for comic greatness.” – The Guardian
“The funniest man on the planet.” – Eddie Izzard

Andrew O’Neill! An award-winning stand-up comedian, musician and writer, Andrew’s distinctive voice and alternative credentials have set him apart and allowed him to carve out a unique place in the comedy world. He has performed in over a dozen different countries, and is at home performing to rowdy weekend comedy clubs as much as to his own cult following. He has written and toured a shit-tonne of solo comedy shows, including Occult Comedian, Winston Churchill Was Jack The Ripper, MINDSPIDERS, Alternative, Andrew O’Neill is Easily Distracted and the current Andrew O’Neill’s Black Magick Fun Hour.

Hibyan Sky! A multi-disciplinary singer merging music with performance art and technological innovation, Hibyan Sky is one of the few singers to fully merge their work with performance art including aerial, fire, visuals, poetry and pyrotechnics – she also specialises in aerial pyrotechnics as part of an aerial discipline, shooting firework sparks whilst being suspended in the air.

Hibyan is a Roundhouse Resident Artist Alumni and over the course of her career she has performed for festivals such as Bestival, Glastonbury and Isle of Wight, together with events at Troxy with Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show and venues such as The Vaults, The Roundhouse main space and corporate performances for Mini Cooper, The London Marathon, Bloomberg, Reethi Rah in the Maldives and many others.

Plus regulars performers:

Tom Baker! Accordionist, louche cabaret impressario and disturbing ventriloquist

Dominic Jones and Jake Stevens! Sketch comedy and cabaret weirdos.

The band for the evening will be Rum Buffalo.

Forged from the streets of London, Rum Buffalo fuse authentic old time swing with stomping hip hop rhythms. Frantic and rich melodies, the most regal of renegades, this vaudevillian troop will put on a show you will never forget.
