A Balkan and Roma jam for a Saturday afernoon at Jamboree led by Sarah Sljivovica and friends. Live music from 2pm till 5pm.

A warm welcome will be extended to anyone who is passionate about Balkan music or culture, whether you want to just come along and listen or whether you’d like to join in!

Rather than open-ended style jamming, the performers will mainly be playing through tunes and songs, with a focus on music from former Yugoslavian countries, and a particular focus on Roma music. Lyrics will be provided for those who would like to have a sing. For those with instruments, there is plenty of repetition for you to pick things up by ear. You are also welcome to bring some new stuff so if you know any tunes please come along and teach us!

Entry is free, with donations for musicians appreciated in the hat.
