The João Menezes Band bring heartwarming Bossa Nova and energy-filled samba rhythms to dance the night away!
João Menezes is a Portuguese guitarist and singer that specialises in Brazilian music. He explores different styles, including but not limited to, Bossa Nova, Samba, Samba-Rock and Baião, with arrangements from Jorge Ben, Seu Jorge, João Bosco, Djavan, Tom Jobim and many others. He will be joined tonight by Harry Pearce on bass, Giuliano Pereira on sax and Jansen Santana on drums.

In support, from Havana, Cuba, band leader Javier Camilo is a multi-talented percussionist/guitarist and singer. After a UK tour with Ibraim Ferrer and Three Generations, he went on to become one of London’s most sought after percussionists, playing with artists like Omar Puentes, Alex Wilson and Roberto Pla, Jon B, Flo Rider and The Game. He musically directs several bands, and has played with renowned artists including Lokkhi Terra, Dele Sosimi, the platinum album selling Flo-rida and Grammy-nominated The Game.
