A Balkan and Roma jam led by Sarah Sljivovica and friends.

A warm welcome will be extended to anyone who is passionate about Balkan music or culture, whether you want to just come along and listen or whether you’d like to join in! Rather than open-ended style jamming, the performers will mainly be playing through tunes and songs, with a focus on music from former Yugoslavian countries, and a particular focus on Roma music. Lyrics will be provided for those who would like to have a sing. For those with instruments, there is plenty of repetition for you to pick things up by ear. You are also welcome to bring some new stuff so if you know any tunes please come along and teach us!

Jamboree food option: Our ‘Zer’ kitchen is open from 5pm serving delicious Middle Eastern fusion food for you to enjoy a post-event meal/snack if you wish! Find the menu HERE!
