A Saturday night of roaring klezmer and Balkan folk with the wonderful Balkanoes! Support comes from the fantastic virtuoso electric live looping violinist Kat Evans.

Headliners The Balkanoes fuse Eastern European and Jewish music with a joyous energy to guarantee a Balkan bash of mammoth proportions. Moving seamlessly from traditional klezmer to gypsy grooves and unique takes on well-known classics, this ferociously fine 9-piece band mix up a goulash of Balkan brass and fiddle with klezmer flavours so to create a hot, soulful party music that always gets audiences dancing with joy!

Support on the night comes from Kat Evans, an entrancing and captivating virtuoso electric live looping violinist creating Cyber-Folk soundscapes. Evans – who has previously worked with Dave Stewart (Eurythmics), Terry Hall (Specials), Thomas Dolby, Van Morrison, Spiritualized and Boy George to name but a few, as well as arranging and performing music for Hollywood films, builds grooves and rhythmic layers with her violin, handpan and vintage keys.
