The 9-piece mini-orchestra shunTA! are one of London’s most exciting party bands, with their relentlessly upbeat musical tour of the Balkans. Their slick, high tempo, thumping take on Romani and Eastern European folk tunes, anthems and singalongs creates a maelstrom of jumping, sweaty, whirling bodies on the dancefloor everywhere they go!

shunTA! means “Hey listen up!”, and the band presents a live energy to match. The mini-orchestra includes a horn section, string section, piano, drums and darbouka. The band have taken the festival circuit by storm (Boomtown, Wilderness, Camp Bestival, Shindig, Balter, Secret Garden Party, Rhythm Tree and Brighton Fringe), and launched their album ‘At the Kafana’ at Jamboree last year. They have recently headlined the 18th birthday weekender for Balkanarama (Glasgow and Edinburgh), the UK’s longest-running Balkan night, accompanied iconic brass band Fanfare Ciocarlia on the UK leg of their last tour, and have opened for Seattle-based punk Balkan band Kultur Shock, Electro-Balkan DJ Shantel, and eclectic global collective The Turbans.

In support are the fantastically-named Yugo Boss. Featuring two accordions and one Korg, the trio (from Hungary, Bulgaria and Bristol) are self-proclaimed Turbo-folk energy, horo momentum, and absolutely no customs declarations or parsley.
