Friday night with the brilliant Roofcats, singing and whaling the blues like their lives depend on it, in an energising and enchanting, Joplin / Reinhardt-esque daydream! The ace Edinburgh-born nu-folk singer and Clàrsach player Anna McLuckie supports.

Headliners Roofcats are inspired by songs that have been circling for centuries, singing stories of the past present and futures. It’s a folk, blues and jazz love triangle, and the cats prowl the peripheries, grinning.

In support, Anna McLuckie is an Edinburgh-born nu-folk singer and Clàrsach player. Performing around the world, Anna has opened for the likes of Jake Xerxes Fussell, Rozi Plain and Richard Hawley. Her debut album ‘TODAY, EVERYDAY’, released independently in 2021, carries a storybook-like lyrical quality and complex layers of interweaving harmony, comprising of a work of contemporary folklore.
