Goat Star Books and Poetry Mondays invite you to the launch of acclaimed Gibraltarian poet and songwriter Gabriel Moreno’s new poetry book, ‘Gibraltar’. This will be a one-off event with performances by Moreno himself and The Quivering Poets, translator and editor Rafael Cruz plus special performances from Poetry Mondays stars, who will read some of the poems of the book and perform some of the finest and most exhilarating music in London at this moment.

This Gabriel Moreno’s fifth collection in English and fourteenth in Spanish and English but it’s the first time both languages will feature in the poems as well as his autochthonous llanito. Translated expertly by Goat Star Books.

Hosted by Moreno, Poetry Monday is a reference point for underground lyrical verse and alternative folk singer-songwriters. The night explores the relationship between lyrics and poems and hosts some of the most interesting songwriters in the UK.
