A Friday night of buried bluegrass, country, gospel classics, originals and New Orleans jazz and blues!

Starting out as a bluegrass string band, our headliners Lunch Special have been captivating audiences with their mind-blowing vocals, close-knit harmonies, and rambunctious energy since 2017. Taking inspiration from their diverse musical and cultural backgrounds, the London-based trio have created a soulful, raucous sound of its own kind, and have performed at various major UK festivals in the past years including Red Rooster, Maverick, and Glastonbury. In 2019, they released their debut EP ‘Lunchtime Sessions #34’. Their second EP, ‘Orphan’s Lament’ was released in 2021.

Strum & Blow is the contemporary New Orleans-inspired duo of Louise Balkwill and George Simmonds, delivering tight vocal harmonies and blistering trombone and vocal solos over classic New Orleans jazz and blues songs!

*Please not that due to a bout of food poisoning Louise cannot now make it tonight so George will play a solo opening set.
