A Christmas Special where the Jamboree Collective conduct the audience through a night of joyous rabble dancing and cavorting via the sounds of European Folk, Americana, World Music and Gypsy Rock’n’Roll! It’s the last night at Jamboree before New Year’s Eve!

Brooke Sharkey excels in creating intense and beguiling narrative songs with a spacious backdrop of chanson, blues, folk and Latin music.

Dila Vardar and the Odd Beats play Turkish, Greek and Eastern “Turbo Folk” with a flair and devilment that’ll have you dancing and sweating reams of rapture. The band are a full-on rage of colour, flavour and rhythm, festive to the core.

Whiskey Moon Face are Louisa Jones, Dakota Jim and Ewan Bleach, playing a sweet and moving mix of original rag and bones jazz, blues and folk songs on a mixture of clarinet, accordion, bass, banjo, trumpet, saxaphone, drums, violin and trombone, with their reference points in early 20th century jazz, vaudeville blues, rag-time, Romani and north Indian classical music. Louisa Jones explores folk music originating in various parts of the world, with a nod to Eastern European folk. Her style is distinctively unique, her voice a soothing baritone wisp, captivating in its velvety, raw and warm range. This combined with the Roma Gypsy sound of Dakota Jim’s Accordion and Ewan Bleach’s hypnotic clarinet playing make for a enchanting blend.

Dakota Jim is a performer twisted into the roots of jazz, blues and Americana. His band features Fred Stiltz on double bass.

This tight knit group of musicians live and breathe the music they have played at Jamboree over the years, making for an unvarnished and friendly community atmosphere; a rare find in cosmopolitan London.

Let’s have a party!
