Come enjoy the dark emissions of the Great British Music Hall, fully restored and once more revisited on the world by THE BLOOD TUB ORCHESTRA. Featuring members of various unsavoury modern beat combos such as Transglobal Underground, the London Dirthole Company, Thee Nuns, Echobelly, Headbutt and various other such thingumijigs, The BTO summon up the ghost of the British blues from one century before there were any British blues, release it from its Victorian chains, give it a good kicking and throw it around the room.

Support comes from singer-guitarist GARRY “THE SLIDE GUY” SMITH. With roots in the blues and a whole heap of other influences at his fingertips, he takes the slide guitar to some interesting places, mixing wittily worded original material with the occasional well chosen cover.

On the decks resident DJs THE SHOUT COLLECTIVE: AKA Jamie Renton (Chilli Fried/Soulclectica), Joe Cushley (Balling the Jack), Norman Druker, Aly Prince and Deb Smith will be taking the Devil’s Music back to Africa, out into the big city and anywhere else that feels right for moving and grooving the people.
