Lesta Woo brings her fun and friendly swing dance taster class to Jamboree, taking place before The Cable Street Rag Band play their weekly Thursday set…

This is a drop in open level class and no prior experience is required. It is an inclusive class, and everyone is welcome! No pre-booking is required – just turn up, put £7 in the hat, and have a go! There are also cheaper advance dance class + concert combined tickets available at the ticket link.

With 15+ years on the swing scene, dancing, teaching, performing and competing, and a lifetime love of dance, Lesta Woo will be sharing a unique blend of both her lived and professional dance experience. The class will be a combination of partnered and solo, with a distinct flavour of swing sprinkled with a little dancehall, hip-hop, and a hell of a lot of groove. Then, if you wish, you can have a boogie and try out your new moves when the band play!
