The group features pioneering and renowned Klezmer musicians based in London, collaborating with colleagues far and wide (NYC, Romanina, Hungary, Germany) who share a passion and creative spirit for these beautiful and often interweaving musical styles.

The Fidl Kapelye (‘string ensemble’ in Yiddish) features Anna Lowenstein (Fidl, UK), Flora Curzon (Fidl, UK), Francesca Ter-Berg (cello, UK) – both also make up the critically acclaimed duo Fran & Flora – and special guest, the Klezmer/Transylvanian music researcher and Fulbright scholar Zoe Aqua (Fidl/brácsa, USA). They will play a set of heavy Klezmer and Transylvanian dance tunes, doinas, original compositions and songs.

Joining the LIKC is the celebrated clarinet and accordion duo Susi (Evans) & Szilvia (Csaranko), two Klezmer legends from the UK and Germany/Hungary who will be performing a new repertoire from their upcoming debut album..
