Influenced by a cocktail of musical traditions from Gypsy jazz to Klezmer, Celtic, Balkan, Bristolian and beyond, headliners The Schmoozenbergs bring a barrage of energetic and playful original compositions, bursting with irresistibly bouncy rhythms and tantalizing melodies . Based in Bristol, the band have been delighting audiences at venues and festivals around the UK for the past decade. In support, Theo Bard is a gifted musician with the uncanny ability to interpret his experiences into universal themes through song. Theo creates new pieces of music as an immersive, therapeutic practise, allowing him to process his own emotions through trancelike repetition and introspective lyric-writing. This is music that connects deeply to appreciation and beauty, Theo’s lyrical threads expressing emotions which would otherwise remain unsaid.
