Johnson is highly acclaimed as one of the UK’s top jazz and blues singers and piano players. A regular at jazz clubs and festivals, he has led a band since 1990, but was playing gigs in his home town of Stockport in pubs and jazz bars from the age of 15. Tonight TJ plays a celebratory set with his great band of musicians, including Alex Clark (sax), Bjorn Ingelstam (trumpet) Denny Ilett (guitar), Wesley Gibbens (drums), Tim Fairhall (bass) and very special guests Louise Messenger (vocals) and Joplin Parnell (piano / vocals).
