A night of Balkan folk music – from the Rodope Mountains, through Macedonia and Thrace, to the islands of the Aegean! Musicians from Gatzolides, joined by Ismini Mouzakiti on the violin, will transport you to an evening of endless dance circles!
It will be as if the warm summer breeze has landed you into the night of a local panigíri (festival). Bring your friends and be ready to dance!
This project is a collaboration of musicians who love Mediterranean and Balkan music, and try to bring a new energy to it here in London. If you are left over in the city for this scorching July, come over for a small taste of Greek summer to treat the nostalgia.
