A Saturday night high-energy Brazilian Music Jam session featuring live improvisation in a true in-the-round, roda format. MPB, Samba, Forró, Choro, Baião and more — played live, together, in a circle. Chega mais!

A vibrant celebrations of Brazilian rhythms in London, the Jambu Music Jam is a very unique and collaborative music experience, in which anyone from the audience is welcome to join – on percussions, instruments of their own or just singing along. Hosted and organised by the Beloved George band, the night will celebrate the groove and energy of Coco, Ijexá, Maracatu, Embolada, Forró, Baião, Funk, Soul, Samba, Bossa Nova… and the list goes on!

As well as the fantastic Brazilian tropicalia-fusion band Beloved George, tonight the jam features Regional do Grafton in an opening Choro set and a full jam session later in the night.
There will also be a special DJ collaboration in the intervals, where the best Brazilian grooves will be spun on vinyl, featuring Fernanda Fassanaro, straight from Maceió, playing in the UK for the first time, and Brazilian DJ and owner of Oca Records, Sergio, bringing the crate-digger energy and the rhythm between the sets.
This one is about music, connection, and jamming together. Come early, get a drink, and join the jam.
