From Arkansas, USA, travelling counter-cultures and across vast expanses like the White River, Dylan Earl carves a path distinctly his own. Tonight we welcome him and his band to Jamboree for a night of witty, irreverent country and western music and dancing, with support from Dom Glynn & His Sunday Best, and honky tonk dance lessons from Gimme Two Steps!

Born in Louisiana and naturalized by the Natural State, Dylan Earl offers a poignant nostalgia, history, and a refreshingly progressive approach to country and western music. His latest album, ‘Level-Headed Even Smile’ (2025) charts territory into his formative years of discovering Arkansas, the people who showed him the ropes and back roads; and who he hopes to become. It is rife with wry wit, irreverence, and an endearing desire to colour outside the lines. Charming and direct, Earl has spent many hours behind the wheel, sharing stages with the likes of Esther Rose, labelmate Nick Shoulders, Willi Carlisle, Judy Blank, Emily Nenni, Rattlesnake Milk and The Deslondes across the USA and Europe.

In support, Dom Glynn & His Sunday Best is the project of Birmingham-born songwriter and guitarist Dom Glynn, who has spent years immersed in the traditions of classic American country music. Inspired by his American heroes.  Dom has developed a songwriting style rooted in the spirit of the likes of Johnny Cash and Hank Williams Sr., paired with intricate guitar work influenced by the likes of Mississippi John Hurt and Doc Watson. This deep respect for tradition now informs a growing catalogue of original songs that feel both timeless and distinctly his own. His band has appeared at major festivals including Kilkenny Roots, Maverick, Ramblin’ Roots Revue, Black Deer, Rotterdam Bluegrass and more, earning a reputation for lively, dance-driven performances.
