Sunday night with the fantastic Sarabanda and their glorious, floor-filling mix of Cuban rhythms. Sliding effortlessly between classic Cuban cha cha cha, mambo and son to the latest hot timba, salsa and Latin jazz, the band play Cuban music at its very finest.

Bandleader Sara McGuinness was awarded the UK Lukas Awards Latin Musician of the Year 2018, and their obvious love of the music they play is evident in their passionate and exuberant original compositions and arrangements of Cuban songs both classic and modern. The fabulous singer Yuri Moreno, hailing from Santiago – the heartland of Cuban son, is much in demand for her fantastic vocal talents and energetic stage show. Combine this with McGuinness’s the blistering keyboards, Jimmy Martinez’s solid bass grooves, and storming trombone lines from maestro Landy Diaz, supported by a steaming percussion section, and you can’t go wrong.
