Jamboree Flamenco Nights presents a very special evening: A meeting of the power and soul of flamenco and the rich melodic tradition of Maqam.
We are delighted to welcome Baha Yetkin, acclaimed composer and oud artist, who will bring a unique perspective to the ensemble, creating a bridge between Turkish makam music, flamenco, jazz, improvisation and other musical traditions.

With more than 25 years of professional experience, Baha has built an accomplished career as a performer, composer and educator, taking part in concerts, theatre productions and interdisciplinary projects in Türkiye and the UK, including collaborations connected with institutions such as the Royal Albert Hall, the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Donmar Warehouse.Also, Ignacio Lusardi will take us into the world of flamenco through his compositions and guitar playing; Demi Garcia brings his incredible rhythmic language to the percussion, creating the pulse that connects these two musical traditions. And accompanying the music, Lourdes Fernández will bring flamenco to life through dance, adding movement, colour and emotion to every note and rhythm.
An evening to listen, feel and discover how two seemingly different musical worlds can meet, interact and create something new.
