East London-via-Liverpool singer-songwriter Lein Sangster presents their solo debut album ‘In Spite of Everything, The Stars’. Full of beautifully crafted and elegant pop laments woven with heartfelt passion, effortless melody and flying hooks, the LP moves from the melancholic to the celebratory whilst effortlessly weaving lush hues of jazz, folk, soul, RnB, and even some Spaghetti Western and mariachi inspired tones.
The launch has special guest, including scouse singer songwriter Reid Anderson who plays his melodic folk noir, with his trademark deep-register, Lee Hazlewoode-sque voice.
Also guesting with vinyl selection picks are DJs Kim & Clive from the Vinyl Therapy Collective.
