A Friday night of Cuban Folk, Bossa Nova and Boleros with Sergio Marciano’s Latin Bridge!
The band are a vocal and instrumental Latin / Cuban project created by the experienced musician Sergio Marciano Pereda, featuring Will Barry (piano and keyboard) , Yosmany Gonzales (percussion) and special guest Cristiano Rocha (trumpet and flugelhorn). They are always in a “Latin Key”, and showcase a traditional acoustic sound. Pereda was born in Santiago de Cuba in 1965. A member of the Nueva Trova since 1983 and the famous “Grupo Muralla” with which he made his first international tour in 1985, he moved to Havana in 1989, playing in several groups before arriving in Spain where he played, toured and recorded with the Stradivarius Orchestra, Ximo Tebar Band, Sonora Latina, Guachiguara, Quinteto Diapasón, T3s de Azúcar. Now based in London, since 2016 he has led his own band, The Latin Bridge.
In support, Vitória Faria and Ed Woiski are an ace Brazilian duo playing original compositions and interpretations of popular songs via accordion, mandolin and vocals.
