A special Wednesday night with The Trouble Notes, a progressive world-folk trio whose music feels naturally at home in the magical realms of fantasy and folk festivals…
“A perfect blend of excitement… unmatched and energizing” – Chicago Tribune
The group, made up of Bennet (violin, USA), Flo (guitar, Germany), and George (drums/percussion, UK), have a technical virtuosity that stays deeply human, sporting a narrative-driven performance that unites the audience through rhythm and melody. Their sound, often described as Progressive Folk Rock, blends Celtic and Pagan folk motifs and classical precision with driving grooves and full-blooded rock energy. Their concerts carry a cinematic arc, but the heart of the experience is connection: the shared lift of a chorus, the instinct to dance, and the sense that strangers can morph into a community by the end of the show.
The band’s journey has seen them perform in over 35 countries, including collaborations with world-renowned artists such as Jethro Tull and Rodrigo y Gabriela, and appearances on international television in the United States, Japan, and Brazil.
“Like nothing I’ve ever seen before… taking you on a journey around the world” – BBC Radio
Jamboree food option: Our ‘Zer’ kitchen is open from 5pm serving delicious Middle Eastern fusion food for you to enjoy a pre-gig meal/snack if you wish! Find the menu HERE!
