Sky Murphy & the General
Sky Murphy and The General bring you a hybrid style of 1960’s red-blooded instrumental dance music dominated by electric guitars teasing out exotic scales and plunging into thick chunky tones and riffs, producing SURF BEAT. Their sound is tamed by an undertone of Lo-Fi 90’s Rock with influences such as The Eels, and Beck, providing a substantially heavier depth and feeling to their full of life sound. This lively group are inspired by British Rock and Roll bands of the 60’s such as The Beatles, Small Faces, and The Kinks’ giving their surf sprinkled music another layer of musical expanse, and those cardinal rockin kick’s that have the joint twisting the night away!

Leonie Evans
Jazz-edged acoustica from sublime singer featured in top Bristol bands The Mandibles and Bert Miller & The Animal Folk.
“Leonie Evans is simply revelatory. There’s something Joanna Newsom-ish about the way she sets out her brilliantly distinctive musical stall, and then sits utterly unselfconsciously inside it. It’s the voice that astonishes, flicking in a single line from Karen Dalton’s hazy, wistful quiver to Bjork-patented growls. Utterly unaffected and altogether rather magical” – VENUE magazine live revue.

Dan Korn
Singer-songwriter Dan Korn weaves enchanting melodies around exquisitely crafted lyrics. Dan’s evocative songs are “laden with farewells”.
After a childhood writing poetry and prose in a provincial town, Dan Korn came of age, taught himself guitar and dropped out. He was drawn to the big smoke of Old London Town where good times and hard times followed, many now formed in song. Cutting his teeth in London pubs Dan has become a respected performer, mixing angelic vocals with his bluesy guitar, all of it charged with energy.

Garance Louis
Garance is a song writer and accordionist from rural southern france.
Her band “The Mitochondrie” are a rag tag ensemble of gifted rougues she aquired from the street corners of London. Together they make a very beautiful, quirky and rickety musical family. They mix destroyed dynamics and unexpected changes with traditional folkloric styles…You could call it a kind of “dirty tango, rock n roll, post-musette, tramp jazz, progressive gypsy…”
