Known for their explosively energetic live shows, Tankus turn every gig into a feverish celebration – part street party, part theatre, part rock’n’roll revival – where the audience becomes as much a part of the performance as the band themselves. Tonight they celebrate their new album ‘Valley of Distraction’ (out 31st October 2025), produced by Jim Sclavunos (Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Grinderman).

For over a decade, the genre-bending band have roared through Europe’s underground music scene, playing anywhere and everywhere, selling out shows, storming festival stages – including multiple appearances at Glastonbury – and building a devoted cult following. All without label, management or the industry machine.  Now they step into a bold new chapter, signing to UK indie label 5dB Records for their new release.

In support, Andy Twyman’s one man band act is a unique blend of soulful blues music with raucous boogie, comedy, cabaret and rock and roll. The result is an exciting and entertaining show packed with heart and humour. Andy’s distinct style has been heard and seen at Glastonbury Festival, on BBC Radio 2 and Channel 4.
